Hyundai Ioniq 9 EV Unveils: The much-awaited Hyundai Ioniq 9 has been unveiled at the LA Auto Show and is going to offer a strong range in a single charge. Hyundai's flagship EV, the Ioniq 9 will be launched in the US and Korea during the first half of 2025, followed by other launches in Europe, among other countries around the world. There is no exact information about when this EV will be launched in India.

Power & Battery Pack

Hyundai is built on the company's E-GMP platform and will offer a 110.3kWh battery pack. Once fully charged, the EV offers a massive range of 620 km. It can be charged from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes with the help of a 350kW DC fast charger. In the Ioniq 9, customers will be given the option of rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD).

The long-range AWD model is powered by a 160 kW rear motor, the long-range AWD option has an additional 70 kW front motor, while the Performance AWD model has a 160 kW motor on both the front and rear. Talking about the performance model, it is capable of catching 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds, while the long-range AWD variant takes 6.7 seconds and the long-range RWD version takes 9.4 seconds.
