Mahindra Thar Discount: Up to Rs 3 lakh discount on 3-door Thar, grab the opportunity

After the launch of Mahindra's five-door Thar Roxx, the waiting period for the three-door Mahindra Thar has reduced and now a huge discount of up to Rs 3 lakh is being given on this SUV. Let us remind you that last month i.e. in October, a discount of up to Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand was being given on this SUV but now the discount has almost doubled.

According to reports, the discount depends on the stock of the dealership. Apart from this, the highest discount on Thar is being given on the special edition model Thar Earth Edition. You will get Mahindra Thar in 4×4 and 4×2 options. This SUV has a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine which generates power of 150 bhp.

On the other hand, the diesel variant generates 130bhp of power. Both models will be available in 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. The 4×2 variant has a 1.5-litre diesel engine that generates 116bhp of power and this model will be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Before the launch of the five-door Thar Rocks, the waiting period for Thar was quite high but now the waiting period for 4×4 models has come down to less than three months. One thing is clear from this three-door customers are shifting towards the five-door Thar Rocks. While on one hand, the waiting period for the three-door Thar is decreasing, on the other hand, the waiting period for some variants of the 5-door model has reached 18 months.

The price of Mahindra Thar starts from Rs 11 lakh 35 thousand (ex-showroom), this price is for the base variant of this SUV. On the other hand, the top variant of this SUV is priced at Rs 17 lakh 60 thousand (ex-showroom, 4×4). In this price range, the Mahindra Thar SUV competes directly with vehicles like the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Force Gurkha.
