Global NCAP's crash test protocols evaluate vehicles on parameters other than for top-rated models, including frontal and side impact protection, electronic stability control (ESC) and pedestrian safety and side pole impact assessment. The new Dzire is equipped with impressive standard safety features including 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and pedestrian protection.
What features will be equipped
According to the information, the new Dzire will come in the market with big updates. There is information that the car has been spotted in the interior with a dual-tone cabin, which is equipped with faux wood trim on the dashboard. The pictures show the multi-functional 3-spoke steering wheel and the conventional instrument cluster. There has been no change in the styling of the AC as the design has been kept the same as before. However, the control section has been given a slight update. Compared to the current model, the new model seems to offer a more premium and sporty look.
When it comes to the centre console, it gets a floating touchscreen infotainment system that is expected to be supported by all wireless car connect technology including Android, Apple and Auto Car Play.
Some reports suggest that the 2024 Dzire top-end trim could get some trending features like an electric sunroof, wireless charger, and a 360-degree camera. To note, this is just speculation, there is no confirmation of these information from the brand.
Engine and power
According to the information, customers will get a 1.2-liter Z-series new 3-cylinder engine in this new car that will produce a maximum power of 80 Bhp and peak torque of 112 Nm. The unit will be mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. The company will also offer a company-fitted CNG option.
