Cooking gas cylinders became expensive from September 1 

There has been a change in the price of gas cylinders from 1 September 2024. There was a shock of inflation on the first date of the month. The price of a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has become costlier by Rs 39. After the increase in the price of gas cylinders, now its price in Delhi has reached Rs 1691. The price of gas cylinders has been increased, but there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel. 

Flight tickets may be cheaper 

After the increase in jet fuel prices for two consecutive months, the price of ATF has seen a decline in September. After the reduction in the price of jet fuel, it is expected that airline companies may reduce the price of tickets. The ATF price has fallen from Rs 97,975.72 per kilolitre in August to Rs 93,480.22 per kilolitre in September. That is, the fuel price has fallen by Rs 4,495.5 per kilolitre.  

  The new deadline for free Aadhaar

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended the deadline for free Aadhaar card updates to September 14, 2024. Let us tell you that if your Aadhaar card is more than 10 years old, then you can get it updated online till this date without paying any charge. After this, if you get it updated after September 14, then you will have to pay a service charge of Rs 50.

With the new month, changes have been made to the credit card rules. Necessary changes have been made in the rules of credit card reward points and payment schedules. HDFC, the largest bank in the private sector, has set the reward limit to 2000 points per month for credit card holders making service payments, while HDFC Bank will not give any reward for making educational payments through third-party apps. Similarly, IDFC First Bank is updating its payment schedule.  

The time limit for special FDs of banks

IDBI Bank has extended the deadline of its special FD. The bank has extended the deadline of FD for special periods of 300 days, 375 days, and 444 days. Let us tell you that it is giving 7.05% interest on FD of 300 days, 7.15% interest on FD maturing in 375 days, and 7.65% interest on special FD maturing in 375 days. The limit of this FD has been extended to 30 September. Similarly, the deadline for PNB's special FD has been extended to 30 September. The deadline of SBI Amrit Kalash Special FD Scheme has also been extended to 30 September.
