LPG Price 1 October: On the very first day of the month of October, people have got a big shock of inflation and the oil marketing companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 48.5.

Commercial LPG Price Hikes: Before the start of the festive season, people have got a big shock of inflation on the very first day of the month of October. Oil marketing companies have increased the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders. The prices of commercial gas cylinders have increased by up to Rs 48.5. The new rates have come into effect from Tuesday i.e. October 1, 2024. After this increase, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi has become Rs 1740. Earlier on September 1, oil marketing companies had increased the price of commercial cylinder by Rs 39. While on July 1, oil marketing companies had announced a reduction in the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders, then the price of 19 kg cylinder was reduced by Rs 30.

No change in domestic LPG prices

However, it is a matter of relief that no change has been made in the price of domestic cylinders. Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have increased the prices of only 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders, but no change has been made in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. Let us tell you that in the national capital Delhi, domestic LPG cylinder is being sold for Rs 803, while in Kolkata the price of 14 kg cylinder is Rs 829. The price of domestic LPG in Mumbai is Rs 802.5 and the price of domestic gas cylinder in Chennai is Rs 918.5.

What is the price of commercial cylinder in Delhi-Mumbai and other cities?

After the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 48.5, the price of commercial gas cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1740. The price of commercial gas cylinder in Mumbai has increased from Rs 1644 to Rs 1692.50. The 19 kg gas cylinder has become Rs 1850.50 in Kolkata, which was earlier available for Rs 1802.50. The price of commercial cylinder in Chennai has increased from Rs 1855 to Rs 1903. The price of commercial LPG cylinder in Patna has increased from Rs 1947 to Rs 1995.5, while in Jaipur, a 19 kg cylinder will now be available for Rs 1767.50 instead of Rs 1719.

ATF prices cut, air travel may become cheaper

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have reduced the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) by Rs 5,883 per kilo litre. The new rate of ATF has come into effect from today (October 1). Air travel may become cheaper after the reduction in ATF prices. However, it depends on the airlines whether they pass on the benefit of the reduction in oil prices to the passengers or not.
