Pan Card Re-Apply: If you have lost your PAN card. So you don't need to worry. Because you can easily apply it again. A laminated “PAN Card” with 10 digit alphanumeric which is known as a Permanent Account Number (PAN) by the Income Tax Department of India. It is the most important document required for every financial transaction. This includes the cardholder's name, gender, date of birth and PAN. Any person who applies for it or gets the number assigned by the department without any request is allowed to use it.

If you have lost or misplaced your original PAN card, you can apply for a duplicate PAN card online or offline. You can also download an electronic PAN card or e-PAN card by using the electronic filing portal of the IT department.

How to apply step-by-step
Visit the official website of the Income Tax Information Network- TIN-NSDL.
Now select the application type as “Change or Correction in existing PAN data / Reprint of PAN card (No change in existing PAN data)”.
Fill in the required basic details and submit the form.
A token number will be received on the registered email address of the applicant which can be used in future. Now proceed to apply.
On the “Personal Details” page, complete all the options.
A physical PAN card or an electronic PAN card should be selected. A working email address will be required for the e-PAN card.
Complete the application by entering your contact information and document information.
You will be redirected to the payment page. Once the payment is made, an acknowledgement receipt will be produced. A PAN card will be issued to you in 15 to 20 working days.
There are three modes of PAN application submission available: Physically providing application documents, Electronic submission through e-KYC and Electronic signing.

Physical submission of documents
An acknowledgement form will be issued after payment of the application. This form should be printed and submitted along with necessary, self-attested documents, such as Driving License, Aadhaar, Voter ID Card, Birth Certificate, Passport, Matriculation Certificate, etc. They should be sent through registered mail to the PAN Service Unit of NSDL, superscribing on the envelope “Acknowledgment No-xxxx – Application for Reprint of PAN or Application for Change or Correction in PAN Data.
