Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have taken the internet by storm by announcing their pregnancy news. On Thursday, the couple shared the good news of expecting their first child and the pregnancy news was greeted with good wishes and blessings by their fans and colleagues. Soon after Ranveer and Deepika shared the news, within an hour, their post received over 1.4 million likes and over 30K comments.

Ranveer and Deepika took to their respective Instagrams, where they announced the same. She shared an e-card which had balloons, baby onesies, and lollipops in pastel colours. "September 2024. Deepika and Ranveer" is written on the card.

Ranveer and Deepika's Bajirao Mastani co-star Priyanka Chopra wrote, "Congratulations" with a red heart emoji. Kriti Sanon wrote, "OMG!!!! Congratulations to both of you!" Varun Dhawan, who is expecting his first child with Natasha Dalal, posted hearts in the comments. Mrinal Thakur wrote, "Congratulations." 

Sussanne Khan wrote, "Many congratulations to both of you." Alia Bhatt posted hearts in the comment section.

Talking about the work front, Deepika was last seen in Fighter. She will be next seen in Kalki in 2898 AD. She will also make her debut in Rohit Shetty's cop universe with Singham Again. Ranveer will be seen reprising his character Simmba in Singham Again.
