Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly been injured while shooting in the United States. The actor, who was recently in Los Angeles for a shoot, reportedly met with an accident on the sets and had to be rushed to the hospital. A report claims that Shah Rukh underwent minor emergency surgery following the injury and is now recovering well.

According to a report in ETimes, Shahrukh was injured while shooting for an undisclosed project in the US. The portal quoted a source as saying, "SRK was shooting in Los Angeles for a project and injured his nose. His nose started bleeding and he was immediately rushed to the hospital. His team was told by doctors That there is nothing to worry about and King Khan will have to undergo surgery." A minor surgery was done to stop the bleeding. After the operation, Shah Rukh was seen with a bandage on his nose."

Shah Rukh met with an accident on the sets in the US, but other details are still awaited. It is still unclear whether the injury will have any impact on the actor's work in the US or the planned release of the trailer of his upcoming film Jawan.

Jaawan, which is Tamil filmmaker Atlee Kumar's debut Hindi film, also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Incidentally, both the actors are also making their Bollywood debut with this film. It was reported earlier this week that the film's trailer will be attached to the theatrical print of Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One, which will release on July 12. The formal launch of the trailer is expected around the same time. The film is scheduled to release in September.
