Konda Surekha's troubles increased, court sent notice for commenting on Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Prabhu's divorce.
Telangana minister Konda Surekha had commented on actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu's matter a few days ago, due to which she is now seen getting into trouble. In this case, actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has filed a defamation suit of Rs 100 crore against Minister Konda Surekha. On Thursday, the Nampally Court of Hyderabad sent a notice against Konda Surekha and sought a reply for comment.
Nagarjuna said in his complaint that Konda Surekha's comment is completely false. Along with this, he also said that this comment is bad for the image of his entire family. Konda Surekha had commented on Samantha- Naga Chaitanya's divorce. The court issued a notice and said that now the matter will be heard on October 23. Earlier, the court had postponed the matter till October 14. Along with Nagarjuna, many actors in the Telugu industry raised their voices against such comments.
Actually, Konda Surekha had given a controversial statement about Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Prabhu's divorce in a conversation with the media on October 2. Konda Surekha had claimed that the divorce between the two happened because of BRS leader KT Rama Rao. In this statement of Surekha, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Prabhu clarified that their divorce was the decision of both of them.
However, when the matter escalated, Konda Surekha apologized. Surekha said, "I take back my words, my intention was not to hurt anyone's feelings. I keep praising Samantha, the way she has moved forward in her life after divorce impresses people a lot." Reacting to this matter, Samantha issued her statement and said that people should not comment on her personal life and keep her name away from political fights.
