Actress Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha took to social media to announce their engagement. The couple is expected to tie the knot in the next few weeks.

Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra made their first public appearance as a couple on May 13, right after their engagement ceremony. Earlier both were seen together at the airport and IPL matches were also seen together.

Parineeti Chopra, Raghav Chadha's love story

Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra have never spoken publicly about their relationship, the couple has known each other for many years. Chadha and Chopra first met when they were in London, where they were both completing their studies, years ago.

Raghav Chadha studied at the London School of Economics (LSE) and set up a wealth management fund in London before returning to India, while Parineeti Chopra completed her degree in finance and economics from Manchester Business School.

The two knew each other for a long time, having started their romantic relationship last year on the sets of a film. Raghav Chadha visited the sets of Parineeti's upcoming film Chamkila as a friend last year, but eventually fell in love, reports Woman's Era.

Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra got engaged on May 13 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi and the ceremony was attended by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray and actress Priyanka Chopra.

Parineeti Chopra will soon be seen on the big screen in the upcoming film Chamkila directed by Imtiaz Ali opposite Diljit Dosanjh.
