In Jodhpur, the NCB seized 34 kg of poppy husk and arrested four people. The main accused, Sonaram Bishnoi, is absconding, while his son also escaped from the spot.

Jodhpur. The Narcotics Control Bureau in Jodhpur, Rajasthan has busted a big drug smuggling racket and recovered 34 kg of poppy husk and powder. This action took place in Milkman Colony located on Pal Road, where the NCB raided a house. The house belonged to Sona Ram Bishnoi, who had been a suspect in the drug smuggling case earlier as well. However, he was not present at the house during this time, but his son Dinesh was there who also absconded. It is being told that about twenty to twenty-five policemen have conducted the raid.

A mill for poppy husk was also set up…

NCB regional director Ghanshyam Soni said that based on the information, the team searched the house, in which 34 kg of poppy husk and powder was found in plastic bags and tubs. Along with this, a mill for grinding poppy husk was also recovered, which the accused used to sell small quantities of drugs. Apart from this, a juvenile offender was also caught on the spot and was taken into protection. The juvenile offender said that when he did not get work, he came to Dinesh's house and started running the mill. Brown-coloured powder was ground here.

Police arrested these four people

Meanwhile, during the raids in different areas, the NCB also arrested four people who were present to buy drugs. Those arrested include Babulal Prajapati, a resident of Durgadas Colony, Masuria, Ayan Khan, a resident of Chanana Bhakhar, Sohit Shah, a resident of Haddi Meel and Farhan, a resident of Khanda Falsa. All of them have been charged with disturbing the peace.

NCB team took a great initiative

There are already cases of drug trafficking registered against Sonaram Bishnoi and now the police are searching for him. At the same time, after the exposure of this case, a case of drug purchase and sale has also come to light in the Shastri Nagar area, where buyers keep coming and going throughout the day. This action of NCB has taken an important step towards stopping drug trafficking.
