4 days after the wedding, the truth about the groom was revealed, the newlywed bride reached the police station… also made serious allegations against her father

Maam, I have been cheated. My father and in-laws have ruined my life… This is what a young woman from Noida, Uttar Pradesh said. Just 8 days after her marriage, the young woman reached the police station. She started asking the police for help. She alleged that her husband had failed class 4. No one told her this before marriage. Even her own father hid this truth from the young woman.

The incident is from Loni village of Noida. Here a newlywed bride reached the women police station of Sector-39. There were tears in her eyes. The female police personnel asked her the reason for coming there. The girl said, please introduce me to the ACP. I want to talk to him. The female police personnel also took her to ACP Saumya Singh. There the girl started crying loudly in front of the ACP. The ACP asked her to sit on the chair. She said- tell me the matter, what has happened to you?

The girl said- Maam, I got married on 18th September. But this marriage was based on a lie. The truth about the groom was hidden from me. The sad thing is that my own father is also involved in this lie. I was told before marriage that the groom is educated. But the truth was something else. I came to know the reality of the groom when I reached my in-laws' house after marriage. There, four days after the marriage, I came to know that my husband had failed class 4.

The bride said- As soon as I heard this, I felt as if the ground slipped under my feet. When I told my in-laws about this, why did you not tell me this earlier? Why did you lie that the groom is educated? On this, my in-laws said that we had told this to your father. He also asked us to hide this truth from you.

Bride wants divorce

The girl said- After this, I went straight to my mother's house from my in-laws' house. When I asked my father about this, he said that he knew the truth about the groom. I got a big shock on hearing this. The bride told the ACP that ma'am, my father wanted me to get married soon. That's why he did all this. But my life has been ruined by his and my in-laws' lies. I now want a divorce.

What did the ACP say?

ACP Soumya Singh of Mahila Thana said that the case is under investigation. Both parties will be called for talks so that a solution can be found. The girl has refused to live with her husband and in-laws. This incident has created tension in family and social relations. The police are now trying to solve this case.
