But a policeman saw them doing this. The women were immediately chased. Police caught four accused women. The remaining two are still absconding. Their search is on.

The incident took place in Kalyanpur police station. Four women who collect garbage stole the liquor that was confiscated in the store room. But a policeman noticed the woman stealing the liquor. After this, the police chased and arrested the four. However, two women managed to escape. The police have also recovered the bottles of booze stolen from the store room.

The women who collect garbage committed this crime on Tuesday. The accused women include Rupa Devi, wife of Nanki Rai, resident of Ward 3 of Pethiyagachi of Samastipur City Police Station area, Sita Devi, wife of Ramchandra Rai, Zeenat Parveen, wife of Mohammad Shamsher and Shanichari Devi, wife of Ashok Shah.

According to the information, after stealing the liquor from the storehouse, the women had hidden it under the leaves in the orchard behind the police station near the boundary of the police station. After the women told about it during interrogation, the police recovered the liquor bottles. In this regard, the DSP said - the women who pick garbage had stolen 16 liters of liquor, which has been recovered.

CCTV footage is being scanned

Other women involved in the theft are being identified from the CCTV footage of the police station. Soon all of them will be arrested. The four arrested women said that they entered the police station premises using a tree that fell on the back boundary of Kalyanpur police station. After that, they stole liquor bottles from the window of the storeroom. Some women were trying to take out the liquor bottles from the window while some were taking them across the boundary. The women standing across the boundary were trying to hide them.

The policeman made a noise

But this act of the woman caught the attention of a policeman. He immediately started shouting. Hearing the shouts of his colleague, the rest of the policemen rushed to the back of the store room. Seeing the policemen coming, the women started running away, after which the police chased and arrested four accused. While two women managed to escape. The police have started raids to arrest both of them.
