After the complaint of the woman inspector, the police registered a case against the inspector's husband brother-in-law, and sister-in-law and have started investigating the matter. According to Hindustan's report, the lady inspector alleged that she had once caught her husband indulging in debauchery with his sister-in-law in an objectionable condition in the room. When I protested against this to my husband, I was beaten badly, and my sister-in-law along with her husband tried to kill me by strangulating me. Not only was this but the jewelry I had also snatched from me. When I told my brother-in-law about this act of my husband and sister-in-law, he caught my hair and started doing obscene acts with me. Then all three of them together threw me out of the house.

The lady inspector said that this was my second marriage, and my first husband had died. I also have a son from my first husband. After my husband's death, I was left alone, then I met an inspector who was posted in Lucknow. Then we both got married. Then one night when I suddenly woke up, strange noises came from my sister-in-law's room.
