Air India pilot committed suicide after her lover got angry over eating non-veg food, she called first

 

Mumbai. Air India pilot 25-year-old Shrishti Tuli was mistreated in public by her boyfriend for eating non-veg. Shrishti was so upset by this that she committed suicide on Monday. Her body was found in Marol, Andheri. Police arrested her boyfriend 27-year-old Aditya Pandit on Tuesday in Powai. He is originally from Delhi.

Shrishti was a resident of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. Her family has alleged that Aditya murdered Shrishti and tried to make it look like a suicide. Aditya had misbehaved with Shrishti in front of everyone. He had stopped her from eating non-vegetarian food.

Srishti Tuli is in trouble due to harassment from her boyfriend

Shrishti was found dead in her rented house behind the Marol police camp in Andheri (east) on Monday morning. Police said that initial investigations revealed that she was mentally disturbed due to harassment by Pandit. Pandit was preparing for the pilot exam but was unable to clear it.

Shrishti Tuli called her boyfriend and told him that she was going to commit suicide

According to information received from the police, on Sunday when Shrishti returned home after work, she fought with Pandit. He had been visiting her house frequently for some time. Around 1 am, Pandit left for Delhi. Shrishti called him and told him that she was going to commit suicide. Pandit came to her house, but the door was locked from inside. He called a locksmith and got the room opened. After this, when he went inside, he saw that she was unconscious. Pandit took Shrishti to Seven Hills Hospital in Marol where the doctor declared her dead. Immediately after this, her family and the police were informed.

Senior Inspector Jitendra Sonawane of Powai Police Station said that on the complaint of Shrishti's family, Pandit has been arrested under Section 108 (abetment to suicide) of the Indian Penal Code. He was produced in the court on Tuesday. The court has sent Pandit to 4 days of police custody.
