The son of Phanishwar Nath Renu, a famous Hindi writer in the country, has been cyber-cheated. Fraudsters have transferred 95 thousand rupees from his account in three installments. In this regard, the son has become a victim of cybercrime. Cyber fraudsters have withdrawn an amount of 95 thousand from his son's bank account. Phanishwar Nath Renu's younger son Dakshineshwar Renu lives in the Rambagh locality in the Sadar police station area of ​​Purnia. He also runs Renu Samaj Seva Sansthan in his father's name.

In his complaint to the police, he said that his mobile phone recharge was over. So he recharged his mobile from his PhonePe wallet. Due to some reason, the money was deducted from his account, but the phone could not be recharged. So he took the customer care number from Google and called. He was told some formalities and after completing those formalities, the fraudsters said his money had been returned to his account.

After this, the accused asked him for an OTP, and as soon as he told the accused the OTP, Rs 50,000 was deducted from his account. He was still trying to understand when two more transactions of Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 took place. After this, he went to the cyber cell and complained. After this, on the advice of the police, he also got his bank account seized. According to the police, after committing this crime, the thugs also switched off their mobile phones.

In such a situation, the police have started trying to identify and arrest the accused on the basis of their mobile numbers. In this, people are being told ways to avoid cyber fraud and ways to identify cyber fraudsters. In this regard, messages are being sent by the Home Ministry to mobile holders across the country.
