The body of a young girl was found in a sack in a canal in Nanauta, Saharanpur. Police investigation revealed that the dead girl was 18-year-old Shaila, who was murdered by her own family. Shaila was in a love affair with her sister-in-law's brother, which her family opposed.

New Delhi: On Highway number 57, there is a town in Saharanpur, western UP, about 35 kilometres away from the district headquarters - Nanauta. On the morning of Monday, 25 November, the Nanauta police received the news that the body of a young girl was lying in a sack in a nearby canal. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and after preparing the Panchnama, the body was sent for post-mortem. The girl whose body was found must have been about 18-19 years old.

Now the police had many questions. Whose body was this and who had stuffed this young girl in a sack and thrown her in the canal? The police were still busy finding answers to these questions when the next day a girl reached the Deoband police station. This girl named Ayesha gave a written complaint and said that her elder sister Shaila was missing and she suspected that her parents had killed Shaila.

On hearing this, the police officer immediately asks for the photo of the girl whose dead body was found in a sack in the canal a day before. On seeing the photo, Ayesha recognizes it and tells her that this is her elder sister Shaila. The police ask Ayesha some questions and after registering a case, arrest her father Jafar, mother Bano, sister-in-law Najma and brother-in-law Maruf and bring them to the police station.

What was the whole story of this murder?

Initially, these people denied any involvement in the murder, but when questioned strictly, all four confessed their crime. 18-year-old Shaila was murdered by none other than her parents, brother and brother-in-law. Now the question was why did a mother and father become thirsty for their own daughter's blood?

When these four were questioned, a story came out. A story in which the blood relation was destroyed to save their false pride. Actually, Shaila was having an affair with her sister-in-law Najma's brother. When the family members came to know about this, they objected to this relationship, but Shaila did not agree. She used to talk to him for hours on the phone, hiding from the family members.

Ayesha was pushed away on the pretext of marriage

Ayesha also used to support her. In such a situation, the family decided to kill Shaila. The four of them together made a plan for the murder. The first part of the plan was to keep younger sister Ayesha away from Shaila so that she would not become an obstacle. Under the second part of the plan, Shaila was to be murdered and the last part was to dispose of her body.

On November 22, Shaila's mother Bano told the family that her friend's daughter was getting married in the nearby Ambheta Hasanpur village and she forcefully took Ayesha with her to the wedding. Shaila's brother-in-law Maruf was already present there. The next day both of them left Ayesha at the wedding and returned home on a bike. Now, apart from Shaila, her mother, father, sister-in-law and brother-in-law were at home.

All four attacked Shyla who was alone.

All four of them talked to Shyla about her affair and asked her to end this relationship immediately. Shyla refused to do so and went to her room and lay down. These four also followed her to her room. Before Shyla could understand anything, Maruf caught hold of her and sat on her chest. Here her parents held her legs and Bhabhi held her hands.

Maruf sat on Shyla's chest and held her throat with his hands and kept pressing it until she died. This method of murder was already planned by the four. After killing Shyla, Maruf put her body in a sack with the help of the other three people. The plan was to throw her body in a flowing canal far away from the house so that no one would even get a clue about her murder.

The corpse got stuck due to low water

Shaila's mother Bano sat behind her holding the body wrapped in a sack and Maruf rode the bike to reach Ainabad canal about 20 kms away. Both of them picked up the sack and threw it in the flowing canal. They thought that the body would float away far away, but it was not so. Actually, when these two threw Shaila's body in the canal, there was less water at that time, due to which it got stuck on the bank.

After this, the police found the dead body and due to Shaila's younger sister Ayesha, the crime of these four was exposed. The police have filed a case against Ayesha's father Jafar, mother Bano, sister-in-law Najma and brother-in-law Maruf under relevant sections and sent them to jail. The people living nearby are also shocked by this incident of murder how any parents can take the life of their own daughter so brutally.
