While addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new plant and other development works of Bhilwara Milk Union at Gulabpura in Bhilwara on Wednesday, Gehlot announced the designation of Livestock Assistant as Livestock Inspector, special project allowance of Rs 5,000 per month to first class veterinary officers and livestock Announced to increase the special hard duty allowance of Assistant Livestock Extension Officer to Rs 500.

On this occasion, he also launched the Chief Minister Kamdhenu Animal Insurance Scheme. Under this scheme, free insurance of Rs 40-40 thousand is being given to two milch animals per family. In this, the premium will be paid by the state government.

During this period, Rs 77.68 crore subsidy for the month of July was transferred through DBT to 18.33 lakh beneficiaries under the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme. Scooties were distributed to 173 Divyangjans by the Chief Minister during the programme. Earlier, at the beginning of the ceremony, Chief Minister Gehlot and Rajya Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge duly worshiped the cow.
