In a tragic and shocking incident, a Class 10 student was allegedly gang-raped by five men, according to reports on Friday. The girl was a class 10 student at a highly reputed school in Uttarakhand's Haldwani district.

According to reports, the minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by five men in a hotel in Delhi. The girl's father filed a missing person complaint on October 4. Later, the police found the girl on the roadside in Delhi. The police traced her through her phone.

Later, when the police questioned her, she narrated her ordeal and said that she was gang-raped by five men in a hotel in Delhi. She said three of them were from Maharashtra. The police then identified the accused by checking the CCTV footage installed in the hotel and copies of ID proofs.

It is also notable that all the five alleged accused have been arrested, they have been identified as Sandesh 25, Roshan 29, Yogesh 34, Ashish 30, and Sahil Kumar 24. Later medical examination confirmed that the girl had been sexually assaulted. A case has been registered against the five under BNS Section 70 and POCSO Act.
