Ganesh Chaturthi 2023: Click here to know some important things before installing Ganapati on Ganesh Chaturthi.

Lord Shri Ganesha was born on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. This day is celebrated with great pomp almost all over India. Every auspicious work starts with the worship of Lord Ganesha. On this occasion, people install the idol of Ganpati Bappa in their homes and worship him for 10 days. Ganpati idols are immersed on the tenth day, Anant Chaturdashi. If you too are thinking of installing an idol this time, then know some important rules for it.

The idol of Lord Ganesha is incomplete without a crown, so if you are thinking of installing the idol this time, then bring home only that idol in which Ganpati Bappa's head is decorated with a crown. Such an idol of God brings good fortune upon coming home.

Whether you are buying the idol of Ganpati Bappa from the market or making it at home, keep in mind that the Lord should be sitting on the throne. Along with this, the idol should also have his vehicle Mushak i.e. rat and some modaks also. All these things bring positive energy in the house.

Bring Ganpati Bappa into the house after covering him with red chunari or any red cloth.

Keep the idol of Lord Ganesha in the north, east or north-east part of the house.

Keep the Kalash in the east direction of the idol of Ganpati Bappa and light a lamp in the south-east.

Also install Riddhi-Siddhi on the right and left sides of the idol of Ganapati and keep a betel nut each.

Lord Ganapati loves red color very much, so worship Ganesh Chaturthi by wearing red colored clothes and also offer red colored fruits and flowers to Ganapati Bappa in the worship.

If you are installing Ganpati at home on Ganesh Chaturthi, then perform his puja and aarti daily on time. Offer food to God 3 times a day.

In the worship of Ganesha, definitely offer his favorite food Modak and Motichoor laddu. This gives the desired result.
