Government Scheme: Eligibility Criteria for PM Awas Yojana

The Central Government has implemented various schemes to assist the underprivileged, including the PM Awas Yojana, which aims to provide housing assistance to those in need. While many have benefited from this scheme, it's essential to understand who is ineligible to apply.

Individuals owning two and a half acres or more of land are not eligible for the benefits of this scheme. Additionally, those possessing motorized two-wheelers, three-wheelers, or four-wheelers are also disqualified from availing the scheme's benefits. Government employees are ineligible for the scheme, as are individuals owning a refrigerator or having a landline connection at home.
