This incident is from Tulaheda Road near the Government College of Ghattia Tehsil. Here on Monday morning, there was a dispute between husband and wife over some issue in a house. The dispute escalated so much that the husband killed his wife by slitting her throat with a sword. Then he went to the police station and confessed all his crimes in front of the police. The police took the woman's body from the spot and sent it for post-mortem.

The accused's name is Jagdish. He told the police- After the death of my first wife, I married 40-year-old Shivani alias Manju. Ever since the marriage, I had doubts about my wife's character. I felt that she was having an affair with someone else. We used to fight over this issue. On Monday morning also, we had a dispute over the same issue. Then in anger, I attacked her with a sword and killed her.

On receiving information about the murder, DSP Bharat Singh, police station in-charge Devilal Dasoria, and other police reached the spot and started investigating from many angles.

Additional Superintendent of Police said that- Wife was murdered by slitting her throat on Tilawat Road of Ghatia in the Ujjain district, police reached the spot upon receiving information. Panchnama of the deceased has been prepared and a case has been registered. The accused is in police custody and he is also being questioned. During interrogation, it was found that Shivani was already married and after divorce, she had done a court marriage with Jagdish 8 months ago. Jagdish suspected Shivani's character.
