Another revelation has come from Pooja Khedkar, who is facing criticism for installing a red light on a private Audi and demanding a VIP number plate. She was not entitled to the quota she used to pass the UPSC.

Transferred to Washim

A trainee IAS officer posted in Pune was transferred to Washim district of Central Maharashtra even before the completion of his training because he had created a controversy over demands like separate cabins and staff. After this, revelations related to Puja are being made.

According to PTI, the official letter states that 2023 batch IAS officer Pooja Khedkar has been transferred to Washim to complete the remaining time of her training and she will work there as supernumerary assistant collector till July 30, 2025. According to a report submitted by Pune Collector Suhas Diwase to the General Administration Department, even before joining duty on June 3, Khedkar had repeatedly demanded that she be provided with a separate cabin, car, residential quarters, and a peon.

Cannot get so many facilities

He was told that he is not entitled to these facilities on probation period, and he will be provided accommodation. Diwase said in his report to the GAD that it is not appropriate to allow Khedkar to continue his training in Pune. He was also accused of removing the nameplate of a senior officer in the Pune Collector's Office after the officer allowed him to use his former room as his office.

He also used his personal Audi car with a red-blue light and VIP number plate, which created a stir in the administration. He also put a board of 'Maharashtra Government' on his personal car. According to the rules, the above facilities are not provided to the trainee and he is required to be appointed as a gazetted officer first.

Various media reports have claimed that Dr. Pooja Khedkar used her personal Audi car with a VIP number plate. Apart from this, she also used to drive this Audi car with red and blue lights. It is also alleged that Pooja Khedkar created a controversy after seeking special privileges from the Pune Collector's office, after which she was transferred from Pune.

Pooja Khedkar had got 821st rank in the UPSC exam. 

Father's property worth 40 crores 

Pooja Khedkar had declared herself as a non-creamy OBC candidate to appear in the UPSC exam, while her father said something else in the election affidavit. Pooja's father Dilip Kondiba Khedkar contested the Lok Sabha elections 2024 from Ahmednagar in Maharashtra for the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. According to his affidavit, he has assets worth Rs 40 crore. In such a situation, the question arises that if he has assets worth 40 crores, then how did his daughter Pooja come into the non-creamy layer of OBC?

Took the job by claiming to be disabled?

Pooja Khedkar had claimed to be visually impaired and mentally ill in the affidavit submitted to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Pooja had to undergo medical tests to confirm her disability. But Pooja refused to participate in these medical tests on 6 different occasions. 

Father is an officer,

she had secured All India Rank 841 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Khedkar's mother is the elected Sarpanch of Bhalgaon in Ahmednagar district. Her father and grandfather have been retired administrative officers. She got her first appointment as Assistant Collector in Pune. It is alleged that her father also used to pressure the District Magistrate to give facilities to his daughter.
