Kulgam Encounter Six terrorists (Six Terrorist Dead) have been eliminated in an encounter in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Four terrorists were hiding in a bunker in a cupboard. One encounter is going on in Chinigam and the other in Mudargam, four kilometers away from Kulgam. On the information of the presence of terrorists in Mudargam, a joint team of security forces started a siege and search operation. As soon as the security forces laid siege, the terrorists hiding inside started firing.

In the house in Chinigam area of ​​Kulgam, where the terrorists were hiding, they had made a basement behind the cupboard. After the four Hizbul terrorists were killed in the encounter, when the security forces searched inside the house, they found a basement. The terrorists used it to hide weapons and ammunition.
