Lok Sabha Elections: One person from Gandhi family will contest from Rae Bareli or Amethi, suspense over

Congress has not yet announced the names of its candidates from Rae Bareli and Amethi. For a long time, people from the Gandhi family have been becoming candidates on behalf of the Congress for both these seats. Now veteran Congress leader and CWC member AK Antony has said a big thing regarding both these seats.

While talking to a TV channel, he indicated who could be the Congress candidate from these seats. During this, AK Antony has said that only one person from the Gandhi family will contest elections from Rae Bareli or Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. 

During this, CWC member AK Antony was asked whether any member of the Gandhi family would contest elections from a traditional seat. On this, this veteran Congress leader said that yes, there will be one. When asked if it would be Robert Vadra, the experienced Congress leader said either Rahul or Priyanka. Now only the coming time will decide who will be made the candidate by Congress for both these seats. 

Rahul Gandhi has filed a nomination from the Wayanad seat.

It is noteworthy that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has filed a nomination from the Wayanad seat in Kerala. He is currently the sitting MP from this seat. Last time, Rahul Gandhi had to face defeat from Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Smriti Irani from Amethi seat. 

BJP has made Smriti Irani the candidate from Amethi.

BJP has once again made Smriti Irani the candidate for this seat. Now it remains to be seen whether there will be a fight between Rahul Gandhi and Smriti Irani once again from this seat or this time Priyanka Gandhi will challenge Congress on this seat.
