Prayagraj. Madam was flaunting her style at Prayagraj railway station. She did not have a trolley bag or suitcase as luggage, but luggage carrying bags which looked quite worn out. She was looking for an opportunity. Seeing her in this state, RPF and GRP got suspicious. When they tried to stop her, she started misleading people in her conversation. When she was asked to open her bag, she said that it contained 'personal items'. When RPF got strict, she opened the bag and saw the items inside, they were shocked. She was later arrested.

According to Amit Kumar Singh of North Railway of Prayagraj division, a campaign is being run to catch the criminals who smuggle liquor through trains and commit other crimes. During this, RPF and GRP found a woman on platform four or five. She was carrying a heavy bag. During interrogation, she told her name as Anita. Pinky was also with her. Both are residents of Patna.

Two other women were also found at the station, whose names were Majuria and Kari. All of them had heavy bags. All four were questioned separately. At first, they were misled and kept refusing to open the bags. They kept making excuses in their conversation. When the RPF and GRP became strict, they opened the bags. They were shocked to see the stuff inside. All these women were smuggling liquor.

During interrogation, it was told that there was less chance of getting caught while smuggling liquor by trains. They had to catch a train going to Bihar from here. For this, they were looking for an opportunity. During this, all four were caught. 191 Officer Choice pouches of 180 ml and 307 Tetra Pack 8 PM of 180 ml were recovered from the four women smugglers. The estimated cost of the recovered liquor is Rs 60,000. During interrogation, it was told that they used to sell liquor at high prices in Bihar. The Railway Protection Force of Prayagraj Division has registered 24 cases of liquor smuggling in the financial year 2024-25 and seized liquor worth Rs 7,72,010 from 30 liquor smugglers.
