An assistant professor at NIT Silchar, Dr. Koteshwar Raju Dhenukonda, has been arrested following serious allegations of sexual misconduct made by a B.Tech student.

Incident Details:

  • The student alleged that the professor called her to his chamber under the pretext of discussing her low grades.

  • During the meeting, he allegedly touched her inappropriately, including grabbing her thighs and neck.
