Many schemes are being run by the Central Government in the interest of the people. One of these schemes is Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Yojana. Under this scheme, the Central Government has set a target of providing free electricity to one crore houses in the country. Under this scheme of the Central Government, 300 units of free electricity will be provided to the beneficiaries. You can get rooftop solar panels installed by taking advantage of the subsidy under this scheme. The subsidy will be sent to the bank account by the government. Today we are going to tell you the easy process to apply for this scheme. 

This is the process: 

To avail the benefits of this scheme, you will first have to visit the official website of the scheme. 

Now you have to click on the option of Apply for Rooftop. 

After this, you will have to give information about your state and electricity distribution company. 

After this, you have to enter the electricity consumer number i.e. connection number. - After this, you will have to provide information about your mobile number and email ID. 

Now you have to log in by filling consumer number and mobile number. 

Now you will have to fill out the form presented in front of you. 

After this, you will get feasibility approval, after which you will get the option to get the plant installed from any vendor registered with your income. 

After this, information about the commissioning certificate will be available through the portal. 

Now after submitting the bank account information and cancelling the cheque, the subsidy amount will be credited to the bank account.
