Rajasthan: Before the elections, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla made this announcement

In the next five years, drinking water will be supplied through pipeline to the entire urban area of Kota. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has announced this in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the strengthening work of Rajiv Gandhi Nagar-Indra Vihar drinking water distribution system organized at the Water Supply Department outpost complex on Opera Hospital Road.

Before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Om Birla said that in the second phase of Amrit Yojana, Rs 250 crore will be spent and drinking water will be supplied through pipeline to the entire urban area of Kota in the next five years. Our priority is to develop infrastructure. Before beautification, our focus will be on developing infrastructure facilities.

During this, he said that Chambal is Sadanira, there is no shortage of water here, yet we are not able to provide pure drinking water to the large population of the city, this is worrying. While planning development in the city, priority should be given to drinking water, roads, drainage system, road lights, medical facilities etc. The work of beautification comes after all this.
