A robbery took place at the ancient Hanuman Tekri temple in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. The accused have been taken on police remand in this case. The accused told the police that their gang mostly targeted Hanuman temples. They have committed robbery not only at Tekri temple but also at many places including Chhimachhima Hanuman temple in Sheopur. The name of this gang is Kalbelia.

Two dozen Lal Kitabs have also been recovered from the gang leader Babulal Kalbelia. These Lal Kitabs contain records of big transactions. Several mobile numbers are also written in these books, which the police have started investigating. When the police took the criminals on remand, many revelations were made. The criminals of the Kalbelia gang are so clever that to date they have not been arrested in any case.

The robbery was committed in Hanuman Tekri temple at midnight on 24th August. In this, 8 members of the Kalbelia gang including a jeweler from Rajasthan were named accused. 3 of the accused have been arrested. In this very high-profile case, Gwalior Range IG Arvind Saxena also announced a reward of 30 thousand. At the same time, Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Sinha had formed SIT. The SIT team worked hard for 20 days and revealed the Hanuman Tekri temple robbery.

Union Minister and Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia has also thanked the police for the arrest of this vicious gang. Scindia wrote on 'X', "Jai Tekri Sarkar! What did the SP say on the matter?

Guna Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Singha said that the miscreants had adopted unique methods of theft. Some things came to light in the CCTV footage, which proved useful in the investigation. More than 12 Lal Kitabs have been found from the miscreants, in which large-scale transactions have come to light. Further action is underway in the case.
