The police have registered a case in this matter after interrogating the husband of the accused woman.

Police are investigating the case. The case is from Dalmia Nagar of Rohtas. According to the police, the incident took place in the New Gangoli locality. An elderly woman Chandrakali Kuvar, who lives here, said that she has no son. She has only two daughters. Both are married. One of these daughters, Devanti, is married to a young man named Shrikant Vishwakarma, who lives in the Kudwa police station area of ​​the Aurangabad district. Even after marriage, Devanti often lives in his house and keeps creating a ruckus for a share in her parental property.

She often abuses them at home and stops giving them food and water and keeps them hostage in a room. The victim's mother said that the accused woman did the same thing on Tuesday as well. She once again started fighting for a share of the property and pushed them and locked them in a room for 9 hours. Hearing the woman's cries, the people in the neighborhood informed the police control room.

After this, the police reached the spot, broke the lock freed the woman from the room, recorded her statement, and took the accused woman into custody. The woman's son-in-law Shrikant Vishwakarma said that Devanti committed this crime for property. At present, the police are taking legal action in this case.
