Her husband, daughter-in-law, and son harassed her so much that the woman started living at her daughters' house. She used to return to her in-laws' house from time to time. Meanwhile, one day when she came back from her daughter's house to her in-laws' house, she once again protested against the illegal relationship of her husband with his daughter-in-law. When she was beaten up again for this, the woman got fed up and took her own life. She committed suicide.

The woman's husband, son, and daughter-in-law have absconded since the incident. The case is from Baliodih village in the Jhajha police station area. It is alleged that 55-year-old Sampatiya Devi's husband Baldev Yadav had an illicit relationship with his own daughter-in-law for the last 10 years. Both had an illicit relationship. Sampatiya Devi was upset about the illicit relationship between her husband and daughter-in-law. She used to ask them to end this relationship. But on the contrary, they used to beat her up.

This time she could not bear the shock and committed suicide by consuming poison. But the woman's daughter has called it a murder. Lalita, daughter of the deceased Sampatiya Devi, alleged that her father, brother, and sister-in-law together killed her mother by poisoning her. The daughter said - her mother was beaten up and not even given food for opposing the illegal relationship. Her mother was beaten up and poisoned to death and all the people of the house have fled.

SHO Sanjay Kumar Singh said an initial investigation has revealed that Sampattiya Devi committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance after a dispute with her daughter-in-law. Police are investigating the matter. Her body has been sent to Jamui Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police have started arresting all the people involved in this incident.
