Police has arrested nine people in this case so far. About 5 more people are absconding. They are being searched in the entire city. The Manak Chowk police station is investigating the matter. Guru Bhupendra Singh, in-charge of Manak Chowk police station, said that the woman has filed a case. She lives alone in Chowra Rasta. She is married. On the night of September 20, around 9:00 pm, her husband, mother-in-law and around 15 people from the family came to her house and beat her badly inside the house. After that, they brought her out. Meanwhile, she was slapped, punched and her clothes were torn. She was dragged on the road by her hair. The footage of this incident has now surfaced. 

Four women are also among the accused

After beating her, she was kidnapped and locked in a room in Bassi area, about 40 km away. Someone informed the Bassi police about this. The police rescued the woman from there and now the woman has filed a case. The police have arrested the husband and others. The surprising thing is that four women are also involved in this. The matter is of mutual discord between the two parties. Other people who are absconding are being searched.
