The help he gave to a woman in the form of taking her from Barmer to Balotra turned out to be costly for him and he became a victim of a sextortion gang. Now Balotra police have arrested 5 people including two women in this case.

The main accused of the gang that carried out the crime, Sushma, is a resident of Barmer. As per the plan, she took Mohammad Imran Gauri, a resident of Barmer, to her partner woman's place in Balotra, 110 km away, on the pretext of work and held him hostage here and took nude photos and videos of him and demanded a ransom of Rs 10 lakh.

The accused fled with the car.

After this, one of the accused, posing as a fake policeman, fixed the deal for Rs 6 lakh. During this, Rs 55 thousand was paid by phone and the remaining amount was decided to be given to Barmer. When the victim did not return, the accused fled with his car.

Pachpadara police station officer Amararam while talking to Local 18 said that on 25th September a report was received in the name of Mohammad Imran Gauri that on the evening of 25th September, he received a call from Sushma Vishnoi, resident of Uparla Chohtan, that she had to go to Balotra for work and hence needed a car. Mohammad Gauri and Sushma reached Sangeeta's house in Mungra, Balotra by car where 3 youths, who were already waiting in a well-planned manner, caught Mohammad Gauri and made nude photos and videos of him. After this, a demand of Rs 10 lakh was made but the deal was finalized for Rs 6 lakh.

5 accused including Sushma arrested

After this, the victim reached Pachpadara police station and narrated the whole incident. A special team was formed to arrest the accused and 5 people including 2 women were arrested. Police arrested Girdhar, a resident of Nimbaniyon Ki Dhani, Mahendra Singh, a resident of Khadin, Kanwarja, a resident of Dhanoda Tala, Sangeeta, a resident of Rohila East, and Sushma, a resident of Uparla.
