Tirupati Laddu is controversy over taste, now it will be made from Nandini Ghee of Karnataka

The taste and aroma of the famous Tirumala Srivari laddus of Andhra Pradesh, which are offered as prasad to the devotees, is going to change soon. Now these laddus will be made in Nandini ghee of Karnataka. For this, TTD has signed an agreement with Karnataka Milk Federation. This agreement is for 350 tonnes of ghee. After the agreement, the federation also started supplying ghee. TTD has done this exercise given the continuous complaints about the taste of ghee in laddus.

TDD had already warned the old vendor about the complaints about the quality of ghee, but when there was no improvement, the ghee vendor has now been changed. After this decision, TTD has officially announced that laddus will be made only in Nandini ghee for Prasad and this system will be applicable in all the temples run by TTD. Let us tell you that TTD provides about three and a half lakh laddus daily to the devotees in Tirumala as Prasad.

Recently, after questions were raised on the quality of these laddus, an investigation was conducted. The Surendra Reddy Committee appointed to check the quality had taken the initiative to change the ghee used in the laddu prasad. After this, TTD made a deal with Karnataka Milk Federation to buy Nandini ghee. According to TTD officials, Nandini Dairy is recognized as a company that follows quality standards in ghee. TTD itself also tested the quality of ghee manufactured by Nandini Company in the milk testing laboratory in Bengaluru.

Then after seeing the report, this deal has been signed. TTD officially said that in the future, in all TTD temples of the country, laddu prasad will be made in Nandini ghee and provided to the devotees. On the other hand, the vendor supplying Nandini ghee has also checked the cleanliness of the tanker and other points. It is said that the old vendor has been removed due to lack of quality. Therefore, now efforts are being made so that no one can point a finger at this ghee.
