There are many laws in the country regarding the safety of women. But some women take advantage of it wrongly. One such case came to light where a woman did something with 10 men, knowing which even the judge of Karnataka High Court was shocked. The woman used to misuse the law. She used to register false cases against innocent youths. Therefore, the court gave an instruction to the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG-IGP). Said- You should digitally disseminate the information of that woman in police stations across the state and ask them to be careful of her complaints.

According to the information, the woman's name is Deepika. She married 10 men. She had relations with them willingly. Then she accused them of rape. Karnataka High Court gave its verdict on this. Here a case came in the court against coffee plantation owner Nitin (fictitious name). A woman had alleged that Nitin married her and then left her. But as soon as the case was investigated, the allegations were proved wrong. On the contrary, the reality of that woman came out in front of everyone. On this, the court ordered to cancel of the charges made against Nitin.

Nitin and Deepika, who live in Kushalnagar in Kodagu district, met on August 28, 2022, at Hotel Lalit Mahal Palace in Mysore for some business work. During this time, a relationship developed between the two. A few months later, on September 8, 2022, Deepika filed a rape case against Vivek. Then the Kushalnagar police asked the two to settle the matter among themselves.

In a second complaint filed on September 19, 2022, the woman claimed that Vivek married her and left her soon after. The matter reached the Karnataka High Court. In the court, Vivek and his family members argued that Vivek was the victim of the 10th case filed by Deepika. In his plea, he told the court that all the members of his family had been forcibly dragged into it.

The woman lodged 10 complaints.

Justice Nagaprasanna said that since 2011, Deepika has filed 10 complaints against different husbands/partners alleging rape, cruelty, threats, fraud, etc. He said that most of the complaints were lodged in various police stations in Bengaluru and one each in Chikkaballapur and Mumbai. The judge said that in three cases the accused were acquitted by the trial court and the victims had filed five complaints against Deepika alleging extortion and other crimes.

The court said, there is a similar trend in all the acquittal orders. Despite repeated notices, the complainant does not appear in court. The complainant has filed cases against several men and their family members without any reason. Even those accused were taken into custody on charges of rape under Section 376 of the IPC. They got bail after being in custody for a long time.

'The woman's intentions are clear'

During the hearing, the judge said - This case has surpassed even the honey trap. The intention of the woman is clear. I consider the actions of the complainant to be a decade-old fraud saga. It is not just against one person, but against many people. The complainant is constantly lying and registering the case without any concrete evidence. She has been consistently absent in every hearing. The judge said that even before this court, the complainant had appeared once and had not appeared on many occasions. The police station before which the complainant wants to register the case should not register the case without conducting a proper preliminary investigation. It is necessary to stop this trend.
