Women owned MSMEs will get loan without guarantee, what is Modi government's plan

CGTMSE: The Modi government is continuously promoting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). In this series, micro and small enterprises led by women will be able to get up to 90 percent loans without any guarantee under the CGTMSE scheme. In this regard, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said during a media briefing that the Board of Directors of CGTMSE approved new guidelines in this regard last week. This decision is expected to benefit 27 lakh women-led MSMEs.

21 crore job opportunities created

Prior to the decision of the Board of Directors of Micro and Small Enterprises Credit Guarantee Fund Trust (CGTMSE), women-owned units were entitled to get 85 percent loan guarantee coverage. Giving information about the achievements of his ministry in the first 100 days of the third term of the Modi government, Manjhi said that a program is being organized in Wardha, Maharashtra on September 20 to mark the completion of one year of 'PM Vishwakarma Yojana'. Prime Minister Modi is also expected to attend the program. The MSME Minister said that 5.07 crore MSMEs have now been organized. This has created 21 crore jobs.

Plan to set up 14 centers with an investment of 2800 crores.

The MSME Ministry said in a statement that several approvals were given in the last 100 days under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP). Under this, 26,426 new micro enterprises have been started with loan distribution of Rs 3148 crore. This step is expected to generate income and employment for more than 2.11 lakh people and promote rural and urban entrepreneurship. Manjhi said that the MSME Ministry is in the process of setting up 14 technology centers across the country including Nagpur, Pune, and Bokaro with an investment of Rs 2,800 crore.

He said, 'These centers will be set up in public-private partnership and will provide local MSMEs access to advanced manufacturing technologies, skill development and business advisory services.' The ministry said that the establishment of technology centers will provide access to technology to one lakh MSMEs and three lakh youth will be trained in the next five years.
