A case of hooliganism by a ward councilor has come to light in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. A ward councilor entered a shop beat up a shopkeeper and threatened to kill him by putting a pistol on his temple. During this, the victim shopkeeper kept begging for his life by holding the councilor's feet. This entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the shop. Now the victim's brother has complained in this regard to the Sadar police station and handed over this CCTV footage to the police.

The police have registered a case based on the complaint and started investigating the matter. Jitendra Kumar, the brother of the victim shopkeeper, told the police in his complaint that his brother Shubham has a hardware shop named SK Traders in Gobarsahi. On the day of Vishwakarma Puja, his brother was cleaning the shop. Meanwhile, councilor Abhimanyu Chauhan from ward number 10 entered the shop with his companions. He abused Shubham, beat him up, and threatened him to close the shop and run away.

Warning not to compete

Not only this, the accused put a pistol on his brother's temple and warned him not to compete. He said that if he did so, he would cut him into pieces and throw him away. During this, his brother kept begging for his life by holding the accused's feet. Jitendra said that when he came to know about the matter, he reached the spot took out the CCTV footage, and lodged a complaint with the police. In his complaint, he has complained 20 to 25 people including accused Abhimanyu Chauhan and his brother Dilip Chauhan.

According to Sadar police station in-charge Asmit Kumar, investigation has been started on the basis of complaint and CCTV footage. According to the police, the accused also runs a hardware shop in the name of Chauhan Traders. It is being told that ever since Shubham has started his own shop, the number of customers at the accused's shop has reduced. The accused has threatened the accused to take revenge for this.
