He is scheduled to begin his tour on October 5, starting with Karachi, then Lahore and then Islamabad. Earlier on Monday, Zakir Naik shared a video on Instagram in which he explained why he has shortened his public speeches.

He said, 'If you count, the number of people attending public speeches has increased every year. I used to go to a city and give presentations for five days, maybe 15 days or two weeks and give speeches for 20 days, but nowadays I go to a country and give speeches only on weekends. However, the total attendance in those two sessions is much more than 10 speeches. This is just an explanation.' Zakir Naik has been talking about dividing people through hate speech. He has faced legal cases in India, including charges of spreading hatred and money laundering. He fled to Malaysia in 2016 and has been a fugitive since then.
