Iran bowed down to Western powers! Proposed changes in nuclear program, will the trouble be averted?

Iran, which is adamant about making nuclear weapons, now seems to be bowing down to Western powers. The IAEA Board of Governors is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, in which France, Britain, and Germany are going to present a resolution condemning Iran.

But to avoid this, Iran has proposed to consider imposing limits on its enriched uranium stockpile and accepting additional IAEA inspectors. Iran has promised to limit its weapon-level nuclear stockpile, but its condition is that no condemnation motion should be brought against Iran in the meeting.

Ready to limit nuclear storage

After the visit of the chairman of the International Atomic Energy Agency to Iran, an IAEA intelligence report has said that Tehran is ready to limit its nuclear storage by about 185 kilograms. It is also ready to accept the appointment of 4 additional IAEA inspectors.

E3 countries preparing to bring a condemnation motion.

Citing a report sent to the member countries of the United Nations, the news agency Reuters has reported that Iran is ready to accept these two conditions, but it demands that no condemnation motion be passed against Tehran in the meeting of the Board of Governors. However, a diplomat has told Reuters that despite this alleged proposal of Iran, Western countries have completed preparations to bring a condemnation motion against Iran. The Wall Street Journal has also confirmed this move of France, Britain, and Germany (E3 countries) quoting a source.

If the proposal is passed, Tehran's problems will increase.

Previous voting patterns show that resolutions brought by Western countries against Iran are easily passed. A successful resolution could act as a catalyst for these three Western countries to restart the 'snapback mechanism' to restore UN sanctions imposed on Iran before the 2015 multilateral nuclear deal.

America will support its allies.

At the same time, America has also made full preparations to support its European allies in this matter. US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller has said in a conversation with Iran International that it will strongly support the efforts to hold Iran responsible. America has appealed to Iran to cooperate with the IAEA.

Iran threatens Western countries.

This decision has been taken at a time when Iran has said that it is ready for both cooperation and opposition. On one hand, Iran has proposed to accept two conditions of the IAEA and at the same time, it has also warned a few days ago that if the western countries once again take action against it, then it will decide its policies accordingly.

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday that if a condemnation motion is passed against Iran in the Board of Governors meeting, then Tehran will definitely retaliate. He said that Iran will include new changes in its nuclear program which will definitely not be liked by the Western countries.

According to unconfirmed media reports coming from Tehran, Iranian administrators have threatened that if the resolution is passed against it, it will activate a large number of advanced centrifuges and gas will also be injected into the centrifuges.
