Today is the 'day of judgment' on ISKCON in Bangladesh, High Court will conduct an important hearing.

Amid the increasing violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, a petition has been filed in the High Court demanding a ban on ISKCON, on which an important hearing is today. In the petition filed in the Bangladesh High Court, ISKCON has been described as a fundamentalist organization. It has also been alleged that ISKCON poses a threat to national security and promotes communal unrest.

Not only this, the activists of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh have also given an ultimatum to close the ISKCON temple within 24 hours. Earlier, a board of the temple was also removed. The petition has been filed in the High Court of Bangladesh when questions are being raised about the arrest of Chinmay Krishna Das, a prominent face of the Hindu community of the country. Chinmay has been arrested on charges of treason. There was also a demand to declare an emergency in Chittagong. Along with this, the High Court asked the government to prepare a report for the ban.

Adhir termed the arrest of Chinmay Krishna Das as worrying.

Overall, you can understand it this way the government which is run with the help of fundamentalists wants to ban the organization from raising voice of minorities by calling it a fundamentalist organization and since it does not have the courage to do it directly, it now wants to do it through the court.

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has called the arrest of ISKCON's head Chinmay Krishna Das a serious and worrying issue, while many organizations including VHP have also raised questions. These incidents show that being a Hindu in Bangladesh is now becoming a crime. Far from getting justice and security there, their lives are in grave danger. Because of this, the Hindus of Bangladesh are scared and worried.

Attempts made to vandalize several temples in Chittagong, Bangladesh

Apart from the Loknath Temple and Mansa Mata Temple in Firangi Bazar in Chittagong, Bangladesh, an attempt has been made to break into the Kali Mata Temple in Hazari Lane. However, amid new attacks on Hindus, the caretaker government of Bangladesh has given a clarification. The Foreign Ministry there has said that it is very sad that some people have misrepresented the arrest of Chinmay Krishna Das. The Bangladesh government would like to reiterate that the judiciary of the country is completely independent and the government does not interfere in its functioning.
