IPL 2023: Shikhar Dhawan became the second Indian cricketer to achieve this feat in IPL 

 

In the 16th season of the Indian Premier League, Punjab Kings may have faced defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday, but in this match, team captain Shikhar Dhawan has registered a big achievement in his name. He played a half-century in the match. Based on this innings, Shikhar Dhawan completed his fifty half-centuries in IPL.

He became the second Indian cricketer after former RCB captain Virat Kohli to achieve this feat. Shikhar Dhawan played a brilliant inning of 57 off 47 balls in the match played against KKR. Shikhar Dhawan has also scored two centuries in IPL.

However, in this match, he could not complete 750 fours of his IPL career. Shikhar Dhawan hit nine fours and a six in the match. With this, his number of fours has now increased to 748 in IPL.
