AIBE 19 Exam Conducted in December 2024

The AIBE 19 examination took place on December 22, 2024, in a single shift from 10 AM to 1 PM. Following the exam, the provisional answer key was made available in December 2024, and candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections from December 30, 2024, to January 10, 2025. The final answer key was officially released on March 6, 2025, with a total of 28 questions removed—seven from each set (A, B, C, and D).

AIBE 19 Marking Scheme & Qualifying Criteria

According to the official marking scheme, candidates receive one mark for each correct answer, and there is no negative marking. General category candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks to pass, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates need at least 40% to qualify.

The AIBE is a mandatory qualifying exam for law graduates who wish to practice law in India. Only those who have completed a three-year or five-year LLB program from a BCI-recognized institution are eligible to appear for the exam.
