Whether you live in urban or rural areas, if you are eligible, you can benefit from various government schemes aimed at providing assistance and welfare. Both state and central governments run many schemes including housing, employment, education, pension, insurance, and more. Let us take the example of “Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana – Chief Minister Scheme”. Under this scheme, eligible individuals are issued Ayushman cards, which allow cardholders to avail free health services worth up to Rs 5 lakh in empaneled hospitals. How can eligible persons apply:

Step 1: If you are eligible for Ayushman Yojana, your first step is to visit your nearest Jan Seva Kendra.

Step 2: During your visit, you will need to provide certain documents, which generally include your residence proof, Aadhar card, ration card, and mobile number.

Step 3: After submitting the required documents, your eligibility is verified by the center officials. Once everything is found correct, an Ayushman card is issued in your name, allowing you to avail free health services.
