With the help of vadas, you can easily make a mixture to eat with tea. So today we are going to make Bombay Mixture. Know its recipe.

Material :
2 cups gram flour, ½ cup rice flour, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder, pinch asafoetida, ¼ tsp carom seeds, 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp hot oil, water, for kneading, oil for frying

½ cup masoor dal, water, for soaking, 3 tbsp moong beans, ¼ cup cashews, few curries leaves, ½ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chaat masala, ½ tsp salt

Method :
-First of all, soak ½ cup masoor dal in water for 2 hours and then keep it aside from the water.

-In a large bowl mix 2 cups gram flour, ½ cup rice flour, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chili powder, pinch asafoetida, ¼ tsp carom seeds, 1 tsp salt, and garam masala. Mix well.

-Knead the dough to make sev. Now take a mold with fine holes and grease the chakli maker with oil.

-In this, make big balls of gram flour and fill it in the mold and press it.
-Put the oil in the pan to heat up.

-Keep pressing the mold or if it is rotating then keep rotating it. Fry the besan sev in hot oil till it becomes golden and crisp.

-Take the fried sev in a big bowl and crush it into small pieces.

-In the same oil, roast 3 tbsp peanuts on a low flame till it becomes crisp.

-Also, roast ¼ cup of cashews and a few curries leaves till they turn golden and crisp.

- Put the sev in the bowl.

-Put the dal in a dry cloth and dry it lightly so that the moisture can be removed.
-Fry on medium flame.

-Put the fried masoor dal in the bowl containing the sev.

- Add ½ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chaat masala and ½ tsp salt.

-Enjoy Bombay Mixture with evening tea.
