EPF balance can also be found through SMS. For this, you have to send an SMS 'EPFO UAN' from your registered mobile number to 7738299899. After this, the system will send a message with the updated balance. If you want to check the balance in your preferred language, then you will also have to send the language code while sending the message to 7738299899. For example, if you want a message in English, then you have to message - 'EPFOHO UAN ENG'. EPFO provides this facility in languages like English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali.
You can also know through a missed call
If you want, you can also find out your EPF balance by giving a missed call on the EPFO number. For this, you have to give a missed call to 011-22901406 from the mobile number registered on the UAN portal. But for this, your bank account number, Aadhaar, and PAN must be linked to your UAN.
You can also know the balance with the help of the Umang app
If you want, you can also find out the EPF balance with the help of the Umang app. For this, first of all, you have to install the Umang app on your mobile.
After this, enter your mobile number and log in.
Go to the search bar and type EPFO. After this, the EPFO page will open.
Scroll down and you will see the Employee Centric Services section.
Click on View Passbook in the first place.
After this, a new page will open. Click on Visit Service here.
Now you have to enter your UAN and click on GET OTP.
After this, an OTP will come to your registered mobile number. Enter it.
After this, your passbook will appear. In this, all the details of the balance will be in front of you.
