Sabyasachi made his Bollywood debut with the film Black. Sabyasachi designed costumes for many big films like Baabul, Laga Chunri Mein Daag, Raavan, Guzaarish, Paa, No One Killed Jessica, and English-Vinglish.

Sabyasachi won the title of Femina British Council Most Outstanding Young Designer of India in the year 2001
