First of all dial 14422
If your phone is misplaced, then first of all dial 14422 and complain. This will make it easier to find the phone quickly. After complaining, the process of finding your phone will increase rapidly. This service is being made available across the country by the Ministry of Telecommunications.

CEIR Portal
A Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) has been prepared by the Centre for Telecommunication Technology (C-DOT). It contains the model number, SIM number, and IMEI number of every user's mobile. Government agencies match the mobile model and IMEI number to find stolen mobiles.

Mobile Tracking System
The government will soon introduce a mobile tracking system. In this system, people across the country will get an option to block their stolen phones. This system can be launched in the country on May 17. With its help, users can track their lost phones and get them blocked. This system can be implemented on a pilot project in some telecom circles of Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and North-Eastern states.

What is the CEIR System?
The CEIR system aims to make it easier to track people's lost mobile phones. Through this system, users can block their stolen phones so that no one else can use their phones. Also, they should keep checking the status of the blocked phone through this. If they find the phone, they can also unblock it through this platform.

What details will have to be filled in to block the phone?
As soon as you visit CEIR, you will see the option of Block/Stolen/Lost Mobile. After clicking on it, some details of your phone will be asked. In this, you will have to enter details like mobile number, IMEI 1, device brand, device model, mobile receipt, where it was lost, date of phone loss, city, nearest police station, police complaint number, name of the phone owner, home address, email IG.
