Photos: Tulip Garden added to the beauty of Kashmir, millions of tourists reaching Didar

 

The beauty of Tulip Garden is not hidden from anyone. This garden is the largest Tulip Garden in Asia, which is in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Tourists from all over the country and abroad are reaching here to see this garden which was opened ten days back. (Photo-PTI)

Within ten days about 1 lakh 35 thousand people have reached here to see this garden and this number is increasing day by day. About 16 lakh tulips of 68 varieties are in bloom in the Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden, spread over 52.5 hectares. (Photo-PTI)

Situated between the famous Dal Lake and Zabarwan hills of the valley, this tulip garden is famous all over the world. Seeing the blue sky, green hills and colourful flowers blooming on the ground, tourists are drawn towards this garden. (Photo-PTI)

In-charge of Tulip Garden, Inam-ul-Rehman told that like every year, this time too many tourists have come here to see Tulip Garden. About 70 per cent of the 1.35 lakh tourists have come from outside Jammu and Kashmir. (Photo-PTI)

Last year 3.60 lakh tourists came to see the garden. This number is the highest since it was first opened to the general public. The Department of Floriculture, which is looking after the garden, is expecting a lot of tourists this year as well. (Photo-PTI)
