Ingredients for making gram flour halwa:

To make gram flour halwa, you will need 100 grams of gram flour. You will also need 100 grams of ghee, 100 grams of sugar and 400 ml of milk. additionally, use 10-12 chopped almonds, 10 chopped cashews, 8-10 chopped pistachios for decoration and a little cardamom powder for flavour.

Method to make gram flour pudding:

To make gram flour halwa, heat ghee in a pan and let the ghee melt on low flame.

When the ghee melts, add all the gram flour in it and fry it on medium flame till it turns golden.

After roasting, the colour of the gram flour will change and the aroma will start coming. Another sign of frying gram flour properly is that it starts releasing ghee.

It may take about 15 to 20 minutes to roast gram flour, roast it on medium flame.

After frying, add sugar to the gram flour and stir for 4-5 minutes.

When roasted by mixing sugar in gram flour, the colour of halwa looks very beautiful.

Lower the flame and slowly add milk to the gram flour halwa and keep stirring continuously.

You have to cook the gram flour till it becomes thick and break any lumps with a ladle while stirring.

When the gram flour becomes thick like halwa, add dry fruits to it. Add chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios and mix.

When the halwa is ready, add cardamom powder and 2 tablespoons of ghee while serving.

Add some more cashews, almonds and pistachios on top of it, which will make the halwa look even more delicious.
